Privacy by Design
At FlexMileage, we believe your movement is your own business. Our application is built on the core principle of Privacy by Design. This means your data stays on your device, is never sold to brokers, and is never shared with third parties without your explicit, manual intervention.
Data Collection
No Account Required
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers. The app functions entirely without an account.
Local Processing
Location data for mileage tracking is processed in real-time locally on your device hardware. It is never transmitted to our servers.
Storage & Security
On-Device Trip History
All your logged trips, business classifications, and mileage history are stored in an encrypted local database on your smartphone. We have zero access to this database.
Optional Cloud Sync
If you choose to enable backups, FlexMileage uses your personal Google Drive account (Android) or iCloud account (iOS). This data goes directly from your phone to your personal cloud storage. It never touches our infrastructure.
Zero Third-Party Influence
- check_circle No Advertisers: We do not include any ad networks or behavioral targeting systems.
- check_circle No Trackers: We do not use Google Analytics or similar user-tracking SDKs.
- check_circle No Selling: We do not sell or lease your mileage data to insurance companies or data brokers.
Your Control
Instant Deletion
Uninstalling the FlexMileage app immediately and permanently removes all local data stored on your device.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, export (CSV/PDF), and delete your data at any time through the in-app settings menu.
